are three
sides to
every
incident:
their side,
your side,
and the right side.
The right side is always the will of a Higher Power
trying to teach a lesson in living.
Do not cloud the incident by searching out the details,
the facts, the fault or the blame, look for the lesson.
"Men are disturbed not by things,
but by the view which they take of them."
Epictetus
View God's world as beautiful.
View God's world with kindliness.
View God's world with Love.
Allowing things to disturb you is your choice.
Things that disturb you are not going to change
unless you change your point of view.
The difference between no and yes may be only one letter,
but the change in view that they represent is 180 degrees.
Saying no all the time limits your view of the world,
saying yes all the time can get you into trouble,
find the balance in your life, say yes, say no,
say what is right, to change your point of view.
Your view may be right, but it does not need to be extreme.
There is plenty of room in this world for everyone's point of view.
If your run your world from only your point of view,
you will eventually run into a blank wall.
Family, friends, professionals, the book, the burning bush,
all have a point of view that can help you avoid the wall,
to help you find the doors, see out of the windows and
develop a different and hopefully a better point of view.
It's only the view from where you sit that makes you feel defeat,
life is full of many aisles, so why don't you change your seat?
"Life's splendor forever lies in wait about each one of us
in all its fullness,
but veiled from view,
deep down, invisible, far off.
It is there, though, not hostile, not reluctant, not deaf.
If you summon it by the right word,
by its right name,
it will come."
Franz Kafka
Respect and service for self, others and your Higher Power
will always keep life's splendor within your view.
Today, have your own point of view and use it wisely
to do the will of your Higher Power.
Today, remember that you can change your point
of view at any time that you want to.
Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
