Guidance

If it

hurts

your

pride

to ask

for

help,

learn to ask for guidance.

You were ashamed because you did not have enough

will power to break the habit, or stop the addiction.

You felt guilt and remorse because you knew that

what you were doing was wrong.

Thinking about living life differently never changed anything.

When you have a problem, when you are in trouble,

when you think about what to do, you think about you.

You put yourself in harms way and now you think you

are going to do things differently, probably not.

Ask for guidance and have faith and patience.

A Power Greater than you will give you guidance by

showing you through another person, a story in a book,

a movie, a song, a burning bush, the accident, or by

whatever method may be needed to get your attention.

The most important thing to remember is that when

you ask for guidance, be prepared to listen to the answer.

When you have dug yourself a deep hole, guidance

tells you that the first thing you must do is to stop digging.

Guidance is listening to your Higher Power who will show

you where to find the ladder, the rope, the stairs,

the elevator, the escalator or whatever you may need

to get you out of the hole.

"Each and every master,

regardless of the era or the place,

heard the call and attained harmony

with heaven and earth.

There are many paths leading

to the top of Mount Fuji,

but there is only one summit

- love."

Morihei Ueshiba

The first guiding step to change is to believe that you are worthy.

You were placed into this world to bring joy and love to all

whom you will meet.

The Spirit of the Universe deems this to be a very important

task and has given you all the talents and skills you need to

carry on and do the will of your Higher Power.

You cannot carry the message of kindliness and love if

you are an angry and mean person.

Be kind to yourself.

Take a deep breath, take a bath, brush your teeth,

eat a good meal, (not McDonalds), take care of you.

Be kind to another person.

Allow someone to get in line before you, give up

your seat to someone who may be more in need,

say please and thank you.

Guidance will show you that to change you must examine

the people, places and things in your life that may be

obstacles to becoming a better person.

"It is better to know some of the questions

than all of the answers."

~James Thurber

Find someone who has what you want and be willing

to follow their guidance.

It is a God incidence, not a coincidence, that the person

who will show you HOW, has been put into your life.

Honesty, Open-mindedness and Willingness are the guidance

needed to find a better you.

Today, live simply, speak kindly.

Today, care deeply and love generously.

Today, trust in your Creator who guides you.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
