Could,Should,Would

"Why do

you seek

treasure

far away,

when it

is nearby,

indeed

within

yourself?"

Marcilio Ficino

Could is your body, the part that needs to move a muscle

so that you may do what needs to be done.

Should is the mind, the part of you that thinks the

wrong thing every time, even when you know and believe

that things must change.

Would is the heart and soul, that part of you that is

the radio, the TV, the satellite transmitter/receiver of

the words of your Higher Power, that when obeyed,

make life a treasure of pleasure and excitement.

Today, be a friend, have a friend, and exercise the

opportunity to be a positive emotional support:

Say, I knew that you could do it.

Say, I knew that you should change for the better.

Say, I knew that you would chose to do the next right thing.

Obey the will of a Higher Power and respect

yourself and others.

"When we treat man as he is,

we make him worse than he is;

when we treat him as if he already

were what he potentially could be,

we make him what he should be."

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Say, you can.

Say, you shall.

Say, you will.

Live in today.

If you could have, should have and would have done

the next right thing, you need not worry about yesterday.

Guilt, shame and remorse over the could haves, should haves

and would haves is a negative place that you

and your friends do not need to visit.

If you could have, should have or would have done

the will of a Higher Power, the lessons learned

will make for a better today.

Tomorrow never comes.

"If a man could have half of his wishes,

he would double his troubles."

Benjamin Franklin

Carry a Touch that never hurts,

the could that your body can.

Carry a Heart that never hates,

the would that your mind shall.

Carry a Smile that never fades,

the should that your soul will.

Remember, the could, should and would is the

treasure within you.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
